A look at the housing market of single family detached houses from April 1, 2021 to September 30, 2021.

I have looked at Escambia and Santa Rosa County. The number of house sales are near identical. Last year was a hectic year.

  • Number of sales from April 1 to September 30th was 5,417.
  • The number of sales that same time during 2020 was 4,792.
The price range that saw most home sales in Escambia County was between $250,000 to $299,900 and for Santa Rosa County the price range with the most sales was also in the same price range.

Looking back to the year 2020 what we find is that most home sales in Escambia County occurred between $200,000 to $249,999 and the same was true with Santa Rosa County.  We have all seen the news on television, the internet, etc. about the price increases.  That same home purchased in 2020 is now in a higher price bracket.
